The solution

The ideal solution is the radar sensor VEGAPULS 61, which measures the level contactlessly through the closed vessel top. It is mounted with its mounting bracket on a boom above the storage tank. Changes to the container, such as the installation of a mounting socket with through-hole, are thus not necessary.
The measurement is reliable regardless of rain, sun and wind. Thanks to two-wire technology, the output signal can be integrated directly into the control system.
For the user, this solution means dependable production, efficient cleaning and time savings resulting from the discontinuation of manual reading and gauge maintenance.
